The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services for the community.

SASSA might be rendering services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency reported it's alarmed with regard to the higher variety of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a high number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is because of the lack of infrastructure at click here Fernie and there is no entirely functional office focused on service the area on a regular basis. The provider place designed for intervention encounters a higher influx of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it complicated for that office to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra assets to allow the servicing of all prospects and maximize entry to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
